I coordinate donations at Pioneer Refugee Centre in Dublin. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Dublin, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Pioneer Refugee Centre on Sunday between 9am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Pioneer Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you for reading my story.

Keep going. I hope things turn around soon. Love from Gdynia.
So sorry you're going through this, Niall. I hope things turn around soon.
Thinking of you. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Memphis
Keep going, Niall. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
Rooting for you, Niall. It takes guts to ask. Well done. God bless
