I coordinate donations at the Jacaranda Primary School in Antalya. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Antalya, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Jacaranda Primary School on Thursday between 9am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Jacaranda Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I hope life is good to you.

Wishing you the best, Ecrin. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Please keep us posted. Thinking of Antalya
Sending good thoughts. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 16 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
Sending strength, Ecrin. I hope things turn around soon. I have a 6 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Bogra.
Best of luck, Ecrin. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
