Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 122 neighbors in Fort Worth. I help organize it with 7 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Thanks for being kind about this.

  • You're not alone, Adeline. This could happen to any of us!

    • Take care. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Toulon.

      • Sending strength, Adeline. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too!
