We're short of hands for the Community Soup Kitchen Night; can you spare a morning?

Every year the Community Soup Kitchen Night brings together 431 neighbors in São Paulo. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Glad we found this place.

  • Keep going, Daniel. Hope this works out for you. Please keep us posted. Thinking of São Paulo

    • Hang in there, Daniel. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.

hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of São Paulo.

        • Wishing you the best. Hope you get there. Don't give up. Greetings from Bogotá.
