27 volunteers for the Community Soup Kitchen Night in Utrecht
Our small team in Utrecht is running the Community Soup Kitchen Night and needs volunteers for set-up, serving and clean-up.
🇳🇱 Utrecht, Utrecht, Netherlands1,697 views
Every year the Community Soup Kitchen Night brings together 366 neighbors in Utrecht. I help organize it with 7 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

thinking of you and your family, Ellen. It takes guts to ask. Well done. All the best.
Hope it all works out. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Zapopan.
stay strong. I hope things turn around soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Utrecht
Great idea, hope you get there. Thinking of Utrecht!
Rooting for you, Ellen. This could happen to any of us.
hope this works out for you. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Utrecht.
Sending love, Ellen. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Brescia!
