We are short of hands for the Clean Streets Saturday; can you spare a morning?

Shinjuku
Every year the Clean Streets Saturday brings together 437 neighbors in Shinjuku. I help organize it with 7 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Thanks for being kind about this.

  • Take care, Sota. Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from Bhaktapur.

    • Sending good thoughts, Sota. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I hope February is when things finally get easier. Love from Joliet.

Sending love. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. My neighbor in Las Cruces donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Shinjuku
