Help Jonathan through 8 rounds of treatment for stage 2 breast cancer
Supporting Jonathan through stage 2 breast cancer: medication, transport to Takoradi Regional Medical Center, and living costs while He can't work.
🇬🇭 Ghana1,196 views
Jonathan was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in October. The oncology team at Takoradi Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Jonathan is 28, worked as a bank teller until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Takoradi Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $810
• Scans and lab work: $250
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $80
• Transport to Takoradi Regional Medical Center: $110
Thanks for being kind about this.
