We are short of hands for the Holiday Toy Drive; can you spare a morning?

Every year the Holiday Toy Drive brings together 287 neighbors in Kano. I help organize it with 7 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thinking of you and your family. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Kano

    • You're not alone. More neighborhoods should do this!

      • Thanks for sharing this, Nkechi. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.
