Help Pilar move out of an unsafe apartment this Monday

Moving day on Monday: we need a few strong people and ideally a van.

After mold in the old building became a health issue for my child, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Ciudad de México, and the lease starts on Monday. I have my elderly father, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers. I'm hoping for a few strong people for about three hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel. The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me. I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer. Glad we found this place.

  • You're not alone. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in San Jose but we're thinking of you. Greetings from San Jose.
