Funeral costs for Doris's grandmother, Cynthia
Cynthia passed away on 28 January; we're raising $4,450 for a respectful funeral in Toronto.

Cynthia, my grandmother, passed away on 28 January after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 23 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,450 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 11 February.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Cynthia to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $4,450 goes:
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,150
• Funeral home services and casket: $2,700
• Transport of the deceased: $600

Sure. The biggest one is cemetery plot and burial fees, $1,150. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Happy to explain more.
