20 volunteers for the Community Soup Kitchen Night in Faisalabad
We're short of hands for the Community Soup Kitchen Night; can you spare a morning?
🇵🇰 Punjab, Pakistan836 views
Every year the Community Soup Kitchen Night brings together 249 neighbors in Faisalabad. I help organize it with 10 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 3-hour shift
- format
- In person in Faisalabad
- skills
- friendly attitude, willingness to help

Keep going, Noreen. This could happen to any of us. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings.
keep going, Noreen. Shared this with my family.
Thinking of you and your family, Noreen. Your post was clear and honest. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless.
So sorry you're going through this. Looking forward to the next update. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too
Sending strength, Noreen. This could happen to any of us. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.

Best of luck, Noreen. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
Thanks for sharing this, Noreen. More neighborhoods should do this. My husband and I read this together.
Hope it all works out, Noreen. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Savar.
Keep going, Noreen. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Blessings
Take care. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Faisalabad.
