Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 135 neighbors in Boulogne-Billancourt. I help organize it with 10 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Thank you for reading my story.

          • Keep going, Sylvie. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings!

                  • Hope things get better soon, Sylvie. More neighborhoods should do this. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Makassar.
