A community fridge for the Lotus health centre yard: help our neighbors in Bristol
A community-led a community fridge at the Lotus health centre yard that will serve 209 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $850.
It will serve about 209 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $850 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $220
• Safety equipment and signage: $350
• Permits and inspections: $280
