13 volunteers for the School Supplies Giveaway in Lagos
We're short of hands for the School Supplies Giveaway; can you spare a morning?

Every year the School Supplies Giveaway brings together 456 neighbors in Lagos. I help organize it with 8 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Wishing you the best. Your post was clear and honest. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Rooting for you. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Lagos.
