After a benign brain tumor, Rodrigo was cleared for emergency hernia repair, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Rodrigo was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in April. The surgeon at Ciudad de México General Hospital recommended emergency hernia repair, and He is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,900, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $1,750 short.
my father has been in and out of Ciudad de México General Hospital since April. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without emergency hernia repair. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,900 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Rodrigo struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Rodrigo won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
