13 volunteers for the Clean Streets Saturday in Quezon City
We're short of hands for the Clean Streets Saturday; can you spare a morning?
🇵🇭 Metro Manila, Philippines952 views
Every year the Clean Streets Saturday brings together 238 neighbors in Quezon City. I help organize it with 7 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope things get better soon. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 7 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
More neighborhoods should do this. My neighbor in Limoges donated after I showed her your page!
Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.
Your post was clear and honest. Put this on a community board in San Nicolás de los Garza this morning
Thinking of you and your family, Michelle. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
Sending strength, Michelle. I hope things turn around soon. All the best
Wishing you peace. This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in Manila donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Quezon City.
