One semester away: help Hauwa graduate from Lagos University
Hauwa has worked and saved for four years to study a nursing degree; a $300 gap now stands between her and graduation.

Hauwa is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at Lagos University, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $300.
The registrar has said Hauwa can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Hauwa has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Hauwa would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Hauwa isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Lagos University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $300 goes:
• Final term tuition: $220
• Textbooks and materials: $60
• Exam and lab fees: $20
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
