I coordinate donations at Harmony Women's Shelter in Nairobi. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Nairobi, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Harmony Women's Shelter on Monday between 9am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Harmony Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thanks for being kind about this.

  • shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Nairobi.

    • Rooting for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Aurangabad donated after I showed her your page. God bless.

      • Wishing you peace, Mussa. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Port Harcourt.

        • Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. It's not much but it's yours. God bless

          • Sending love, Mussa. This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Nairobi.
