I've coached rowing at Wudil Mount Pleasant Boxing Gym since 1988. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Zubby
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Zubby: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
