Zubair Arslan Aslam
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇰 Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan
- 2003 to 2017
- English
I've worked in thatching from 2003 to 2017. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 640 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 10 years later for another job.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Zubair
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Zubair: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
