Zoya Anastasia Zaitsev
26 years teaching agriculture in Novosibirsk
- 🇷🇺 Novosibirsk, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia
- Novosibirsk Boys' School
- 2001 to 2024
- English
I taught agriculture at Novosibirsk Boys' School in Novosibirsk from 2001 to 2024. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Zoya
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Zoya: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
