Zola T. Petersen
Law school mentor, Pretoria
- 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
- Redwood Learning Hub
- 2015 to 2025
- English
For ten years I've mentored people in law school and public speaking. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Zola
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Zola: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
