Zola P. Chetty

18 years teaching economics in Cape Town

  • 🇿🇦 Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa
  • 1989 to 2025
  • English, Afrikaans
Elmwood Boys' School was my second home. I taught economics there from 1989 to 2025, mostly Grade 6. Over the years I had 1,980 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Zola

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
