Zoey J. Chen
Tabla player and teacher in San Diego
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- San Diego St. Anne's Ensemble
- Since 1981
- English
I've played tabla since 1981, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 9 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Zoey
I write my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Zoey: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
