I taught religious studies at St. Petersburg Boys' School in St. Petersburg from 1995 to 2022. Most days I taught teenagers, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 1,110 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
