Zewditu Mekdes Legesse
Choir director and singer
- 🇪🇹 Hawassa, Sidama, Ethiopia
- Rosewood Choir
- Since 1979
- English, Amharic
I play violin and flute. I started in 1979 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 13 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Zewditu
If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.
What gifts mean to Zewditu: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
