Zewditu Lemlem Ayele

Design and technology and economics teacher, Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • St. Joseph's Secondary School
  • Since 1995
  • English, Amharic
For 31 years I have been the design and technology teacher at St. Joseph's Secondary School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I've had 1,520 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Zewditu

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Zewditu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
