I've been a nurse for ten years, most of them in community health at Atlas Children's Hospital in Addis Ababa. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I fix old bicycles.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
