I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Zelalem: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
