I taught geography at Addis Ababa Grammar School in Addis Ababa from 1989 to 2001. Most days I taught Year 7, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Zelalem
If you were in my Year 7 class, you probably remember the rainy sports day.
