Zawadi Margaret Simiyu

Digital art artist in Arusha

  • 🇹🇿 Arusha, Arusha, Tanzania
  • Since 1985
  • English
I work mostly in digital art, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 1985 at Arusha Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by the changing seasons. I bake for the whole street at New Year. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Zawadi: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
