Zawadi Beatrice Simiyu

Youth rowing coach and mentor

  • 🇹🇿 Dodoma, Dodoma, Tanzania
  • Willow Creek Athletic Club
  • 1996 to 2004
  • English, Swahili
I'm a rowing coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 440 kids fall in love with the game. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

What gifts mean to Zawadi: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
