Zanele E. Zulu
Painter, potter and teacher at Old Johannesburg Pottery
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Old Johannesburg Pottery
- Since 1981
- English, Afrikaans
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes watercolor. My first show was in 1981 at Old Johannesburg Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I run most mornings.
More about Zanele
I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Zanele: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
