I've worked in blacksmithing from 1998 to 2012. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 810 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
