Zalak B. Deshmukh
Professor of modern history, Rohini Institute of Technology
- 🇮🇳 Rohini, Delhi, India
- Rohini Institute of Technology
- 1984 to 1994
- English, Marathi
I taught modern history at Rohini Institute of Technology from 1984 to 1994, and supervised 23 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Zalak
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
