Zainab Vivian Afolabi
Watercolor artist in Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Old Phoenix Pottery
- Since 2014
- English
I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes calligraphy. My first show was in 2014 at Old Phoenix Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the changing seasons. I make terrible puns.
More about Zainab
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Zainab: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.

I bought one of your pieces in 2019. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Santos.
