Zainab Tayyaba Niazi
Painter, potter and teacher at The Lahore Pottery
- 🇵🇰 Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan
- Since 1978
- English, Urdu
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes embroidery. My first show was in 1978 at The Lahore Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Zainab
I've had 3 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Zainab: Any gift helps me keep the free Saturday class running.
