For 20 years I was the design and technology teacher at Cairo Middle School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Zainab
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Zainab: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
