Zainab Noor Ismail
Bicycle repair for 24 years in Cairo
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Since 2002
- English
I've worked in bicycle repair since 2002. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 550 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 12 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Zainab
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Zainab: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
