I've worked in upholstery since 1987. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,250 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 10 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Zainab: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
