Zainab Kehinde Gbadamosi
Coached cricket for 18 years in Onitsha
- 🇳🇬 Onitsha, Anambra, Nigeria
- Meadowbank Football Club
- Since 2008
- English, Yoruba
For 18 years I've run the cricket program at Meadowbank Football Club in Onitsha. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you played for me, you probably remember the rainy sports day.

What gifts mean to Zainab: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
