Zainab Joy Jimoh

Shoemaking for 23 years in Lagos

🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
Lagos Workshop
2002 to 2025
English

My trade is shoemaking. I opened my own shop in 2002 in Lagos and I'm still there most mornings. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself. If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

More about Zainab

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
