Zainab Ifeoma Odukoya
Environmental science and social studies teacher, Asaba
- 🇳🇬 Asaba, Delta, Nigeria
- Holy Cross Technical College
- 2006 to 2025
- English
I taught environmental science at Holy Cross Technical College in Asaba from 2006 to 2025. Most days I taught Year 9, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 800 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Zainab
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Zainab: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
