Zainab Aisha Badawi
15 years teaching physics in Shubra

- Gateway Middle School

- English, Arabic
I taught physics at Gateway Middle School in Shubra from 1985 to 2014. Most days I taught primary school children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 580 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Zainab
If you were in my primary school children class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Zainab: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
