Zaid Ziad Bouzid
Coached swimming for 28 years in Alexandria
- 🇪🇬 Alexandria, Alexandria, Egypt
- Since 1998
- English, Arabic
For 28 years I've run the swimming program at Good Shepherd Swimming Club in Alexandria. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
More about Zaid
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Zaid: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
