I coached dance at Arlington Community Club from 2007 to 2017. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
What gifts mean to Zaid: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the time the class pet escaped. Best summer of my life! Greetings from Bacoor.
