For 40 years I've run the rowing program at Jakarta Atlas Athletic Club in Jakarta. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
What gifts mean to Zahra: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Corpus Christi.
