Zahra Okta Halim
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Fairview Repairs
- Since 2017
- English, Indonesian
I've worked in masonry since 2017. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 450 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
More about Zahra
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Zahra: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
