I teach home economics at Hillcrest Public School in Cairo since 2016. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
