34 years teaching statistics in Los Angeles

I taught statistics at Phoenix Boys' School in Los Angeles from 1991 to 2011. Most days I taught primary school children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Zahra
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Zahra: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me statistics in 2011 at Phoenix Boys' School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Truly.
